Why Choose Used Case 580 Parts Over New?
- Big cost savings – Used and rebuilt OEM parts typically cost a fraction of new, without compromising fit.
- Real OEM fitment – Pull-off parts from donor machines match factory specs, so installation is straightforward.
- Availability on older models – New components for legacy 580 models can be discontinued; used is often the only practical option.
- Shorter downtime – Why wait weeks? Our ready-to-ship inventory helps you finish repairs sooner.
- Sustainable choice – Re-using quality components reduces scrap and manufacturing impact.

History of the Case 580 Backhoe
The Case 580 “Construction King” line began in the late 1960s; the original 580 CK was built circa 1966–1971, establishing the loader-backhoe platform that the series would refine for decades.
Case then iterated quickly: the 580B ran 1971–1976, followed by the 580C (1975–1980) and 580D (1980–1983), bringing incremental upgrades to powertrains, hydraulics, and serviceability.
The 580E arrived in the 1980s (commonly listed 1983–1993), capping the early “Construction King” era before a major redesign.
In 1987 Case launched the 580K, a comprehensive update that later evolved into the 580 Super K (580SK) in the early 1990s (SK commonly 1992–1994).
Mid-90s modernization brought the 580L (widely documented 1996–2001 in many markets) and early-2000s 580M (~2001–2005), continuing improvements in hydraulics, operator comfort, and emissions.
The N-series debuted around 2011 with Tier 4 Interim emissions tech (models including 580N and 580 Super N), and Case has continued refining the platform—most recently celebrating the lineage with a limited-run 580 Super N “J.I. Case Signature” edition.
